PERMATA-MBSA AND GEN PRO RACE TO THE FRONT

Kuala Lumpur (3 June, 2013): The Permata-MBSA’s juggernaut continues with another scintillating performance in Division One of the Liga 1MCC-Hong Leong Yamaha Under-14 Klang Valley zone at the Runner Research Institute (RRI) grounds in Sungai Buloh.
The Shah Alam-based outfit are on a roll – smashing their way to total of 13 goals without conceding any in three matches. Permata-MBSA defeated Royal Selangor Club 3-0 and then brushed aside Ulu Klang Recreational Club and Mahkota FA with identical scores of 5-0 respectively.
It was their seventh win in nine matches, which included two draws, as they amassed 23 points – three clear at the top over 2012 runners-up PKNS FC.
PKNS FC, who have erased the bitter memory of their 2-1 defeat to defending championships CIMB-YFA in last year’s final, played to a goalless draw against their arch nemesis over the weekend, and followed up with a 4-0 thrashing of Royal Selangor Club.
Kelab Bola Remaja Puchong (KBR Puchong) moved into third spot, while PNSB FC is placed fourth in the 15-team Division One League. Both teams share 18-equal points.KBR Puchong had a rather subdued outing recently against Tunas Lagenda (0-0) and Perkasa FC (0-0) while PNSB FC defeated Blues FC 2-0.
In Division Two, Gen Pro surged to the front of the table standings with 22 points – three clear of Ombak FC and KB Nadi Dahlia (19). KB anak Kalumpang are in fourth spot with 18 points.
Gen Pro outclassed Gallagher Young Boys 4-0, and followed up with 2-1 win over Proficient FC to earn their seventh win from eight matches in the 15-team Division Two league.
Ombak FC and Nadi Dahlia stayed on course with easy wins over their opponents as well. Ombak downed Astaka FC 3-1 and were held to a 1-1 draw by Nadi Dahlia.
